Tara is a Co-Founder of GDS. Prior to this, she was offered Associate Director at RG+P Architects where she was responsible for strategic organisation and growth of the London office. Here, she successfully created exciting and challenging residential projects for private and public-sector clients. She previously worked with Mace Group in the community and education sectors. She is a certified Passivhaus Designer (blog) and contributor to the AECB (Association of Energy Conscious Building).
She studied Architecture at the University of Liverpool and Newcastle University where she gained a passion for sustainable design. While completing her Architecture studies, she gained an MSc in Project Management with her thesis focusing on Creating Socially, Economic, and Environmentally Sustainable Communities. This has become the thread that runs through each project she procures.
Tara believes in education and co-created the mobile app: MyPart3App, which helps professionals pass their final Architecture exams. She mentors for the RIBA Fluid Mentoring scheme and the Stephen Lawrence Trust, and is part of the NAWIC London group – supporting women in construction.
She enjoys travelling and running so is always looking for her next Marathon - preferably abroad!

Lanre is a Co-Founder of GDS and at present consults within the practice, bringing his expertise on mid-large scale residential architecture, property development and design management. He has a passion for all things BIM, Innovation, Off-site Construction and collaborative working practices. As such he is also a member of the Collective Works network.
He studied Architecture at Newcastle University and completed his professional examinations with the RIBA NW. Alongside his architectural qualifications completed Masters in Project Management with Distinction; his thesis focused on 'Effective human resource management practices in a construction-based organisations'. Practice experience has been honed working at small, medium and large scales including Aedas Architects, Xsite and GOA Studio. In recent times he has worked for some of the largest developers in London in a design management capacity and now leads a Product Innovation Team with a prominent housing association and residential developer.
As an elected RIBA Council Member & Trustee, he is passionate about advancing Client-Architect relationships and education. In co-founding MyPart3App, he hopes the app will become a must-have student and young architects' resource in the near future.
Lanre is a drone enthusiast and huge sports fan. Tara's trying to get him into long-distance running and successfully persuaded him to do the London Marathon in April 2018.
