As an essential part of sustainability, the conservation and enhancement of biodiversity should be embedded in good design. With the governments’ 25 Years Environment Plans’ potential policy change to make net gains in biodiversity mandatory, developments must adopt a pro-active approach to embed healthy green infrastructure, and biodiversity net gains in all future developments.
