Gbolade Design Studio have Declared a Climate and Biodiversity Emergency, and have signed-up to both the Architects Declare commitments and the RIBA’s 2030 Climate Challenge, recognising that our built environment accounts for nearly 40% of energy-related carbon emissions.

With in-house Passivhaus expertise, and PAS2035 training underway, we hope that by working with great, like-minded clients, we can together advocate for an equitable society that meets planetary boundaries.

We specialise in preparing Whole House Retrofit Plans: a comprehensive strategy addressing key issues for building improvements including its fabric, heating & ventilation, energy generation, and repairs.

We believe that Sustainability & Regenerative development should be approached holistically, and includes: Environmental, Social, and Economic Sustainability to ensure that high-quality placemaking is embedded within new and existing developments.
